Chinese Acupuncture in Minnesota

Whatever course of treatment you choose, the staff at TCM Health Centers is proud to offer Chinese medicine in Roseville and surrounding areas. Our practitioners constantly strive to hone the skills that have made us one of the most trusted centers for Chinese acupuncture in Minnesota.

Acupuncture Infertility Treatment

Oriental medicine has a long history of treating fertility issues in both men and women. For many couples, acupuncture infertility treatment is quite successful, and it offers an alternative that is less painful and much more affordable than traditional Western medicine. When used skillfully, this natural treatment restores the balance of hormones in the body so that conception can occur. This is why so many have utilized the power of acupuncture for fibromyalgia, pain management, stress relief and other treatments, in addition to fertility issues.

If you and your partner have tried unsuccessfully to conceive for a year or longer, this treatment may be a viable option for you as well. TCM Health Centers' practitioners can advise you on what you can expect from Chinese acupuncture. In Minnesota, prospective clients can call, write or visit one of our five centers for more information and assistance.

Acupuncture for Fibromyalgia

This course of treatment is among the most common uses for acupuncture. Like acupuncture infertility treatments, the treatment for fibromyalgia is intended to restore balance to the body. Needles placed on certain key areas of the body stimulate an increase in blood flow and relieve bodily pain common to sufferers.

Though no list of fibromyalgia symptoms can address all of the possible manifestations of this disorder, there are some symptoms that are reported more often than others:

  • Heightened pain sensitivity
  • Generalized or widespread pain/stiffness
  • Muscle fatigue and overall lack of physical stamina
  • Nausea, weight gain
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Cognitive/memory impairment, anxiety, depression and other mental/psychological symptoms
  • Headaches, cold- and flu-like symptoms, urinary problems or other unexplained symptoms

Clearly, the symptoms of this disorder vary greatly and can be attributed to a number of other possible causes. For this reason, it is important not to self-diagnose and to consult with a physician or specialist before undergoing acupuncture for fibromyalgia. Once you have a diagnosis, however, we encourage you to speak to one of our practitioners about your particular case to decide what treatment might be appropriate.
